1. The service
Text Lock provides software and an optional vehicle chip that disable phone texting while driving, hold and auto-reply to incoming messages, and give guardians oversight of driver activity. Some capabilities on this website are provided as a live software demonstration.
2. Accounts
You sign in with Google. You are responsible for the activity under your account and for the accuracy of the driver information you add. One account (the guardian) owns and manages its own drivers and data.
3. Subscriptions & billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis — quarterly (every 3 months) or annually — via our payment processor, Stripe. New accounts include a 7-day free trial. Your plan renews automatically until you cancel.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel at any time from the in-app billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the current paid period. See our Refunds & Cancellation Policy for details.
5. Acceptable use
Text Lock is a safety aid, not a guarantee. You must continue to follow all traffic laws and drive responsibly. Do not misuse, reverse engineer, or attempt to circumvent the service.
6. Disclaimer & liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Text Lock is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
